• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wanna know why Amazon, Ebay and others exist?

Cool just make that awesome statement without any detail as to what you think is wrong about my statement.

I didn't think anything was wrong with your statement. I was agreeing with you! Obviously, I didn't do a very good job of communicating this. Sorry...

RE: Free shipping

Most of us are aware that shipping is a part of the "overhead" of the business. The company is going to pay for "free" shipping some way, some how.

If I am comparing prices AND get free shipping on an item that also has the "lower" price, I still consider the shipping as "free." I get the item I want for the "lowest" price AND they throw in "free" shipping on top of that. I see WIN, WIN for me anyway.

Went to my dealer April 22, 2021 to get a fuel filter for my 2015 F3. Didn't have one. He ordered it and charged me and said it will be here next Tues. Went there "next Tues." and they didn't have it yet. Went the following week on a Friday. No fuel filter. Told it was back ordered. Called dealer yesterday 24 Aug 2021. Dealer said they won't be in until Sep 22, 202l and offered me a refund. I took it. HELLO E-bay! I tried to support my local dealer and all I did was waste time, gas and got a headache. It was only $18 and change. He'll survive.

FILTER is OTC at most all auto parts stores... see pic... the BIG issue is; REPLACING IT... basically, you need to remove most all of the upper Tuperware, windshield included, to get to the @*#$%$& thing....

I think it was mentioned above, but again, make sure it's a high-pressure filter. BajaRon OEM filter for $20.75 and free shipping. LOL!

I went to a powersports dealer today to get a tie rod end for my ATV. He happened to have one in stock, in a Honda parts bag even! Price - $12. You know what the Amazon price would have been for an after market one? Around $18.

To ad my 2 cents, as a dealer, Rolofsons Implement, Toronto SD, we are having a difficult time getting some parts . Most times we can get them from other dealers but when we have to order from the factory, it can take up to 2 months to get. We don't stock the huge amounts of parts like amazon does. Please remember, we are human also and are not perfect.

PS, There is this new thing called a PHONE, that will save you a trip!!

I went to the Kawasaki dealer I got my Concours from to get oil and filter. I use Kawasaki oil, guess what? They don't carry it, so I walked out with a filter only. From then on I, get whatever I need online. I tried to be a good customer. Probably do the same thing when I get my Spyder.
