• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WackyDan Finally retired the 08 GS for a 2017 F3-S SM6 Blue

Congratulations

Congratulations on your new Spyder from the UK. Love the colour that I am going to see one in the flesh at some point to see if I still like colour.:yes::yes:

Thanks for giving us the background to your change-over.
I'm in a similar position - had an RS, changed to a (slightly used) ST-L which now has tri-axis bars, swaybar, airflow panels, elkas & etc and is as good as I can make it.

BUT the F3 range is calling me...

Jeff, my husband, has an F3S and on our next ride I'm going to have a nice, long turn riding it. I wonder if he quite knows where this may lead?? )$$$) I couldn't buy an F3tL because the only colour we get here is red and it clashes with the dragon red on Jeff's F3S haha. I could buy the F3T but we only get white, and I'm a bit sick of white seeing as the 13 ST-L was only available in white.... (black only for the 14 STL - no 15 or 16 year ST models were imported to oz)

The blue is the colour I've been waiting for ... so I really hope it makes it to Australia, where as you can see we have very basic colour choices.

Here's a question - have BRP fixed the rear chassis / rear shock issue on the 17 F3S range?

Oh some trivia, we logged petrol use over a 1200 km + ride, and found that the F3S SE6 has a 25% better range than the 13 ST SE5.

Enjoy your new Spyder!

Uhm.. yes and no. The stock shock is better than the old one, but still no adjustment. I'll be getting an Elka to replace it shortly... HAve some other mods to get done and pay for first though.

Love the Blue

That blue color is gorgeous :congrats: on your new ride:clap:

Gave up my 08' Spyder as well for an F3-S, back in 2015.

Man I love those Givi 41's on yours. The paint lines/design just plain go with the bike...

I'm doing V35's though.
