This note will be of little use to anyone outside the Puget sound area. I just got back from my yearly ride and found that not only have fares doubled, there is now a $3.80 charge on top of the motorcycle fare because I have 3 wheels. I don't expect to ride for free, but having to pay almost triple what I paid last year was hard to swallow. To top it off, I got charged one fare on one run and a different fare for another run. They were supposed to be the same. A phone discussion was of no help. State tax dollars are supposed to be supporting the ferries anyway.
