VSS fault

Tried to start:spydern sat and battery was low, then the fun began with fault with vss started / took to Elk Grove power sports today to clear the fault and they said it was the LED tail/break lights that caused the falt and put ths stock bulbes in at 11.95 each pluss the shop time and the fault cleared up Very disapointed:dontknow:

What bulbs did you have in there? A lot of people tried aftermarket LED lights only to cause Limp mode, but I think it came on instantly. The bulbs that can be used can be found here http://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Automot...TF8&coliid=I217MNH1TQEA0J&colid=380MMTTEQZMH0

You need a 60ohm 50w resistor for the taillights

Sorry you had to find this out the hard way. Well known fact...discussed here on SpyderLovers many times.

Sorry fopr your trouble . You should invest in a Battery Tender to keep the :spyder2: fully charged . I know this wouldn't have solved your brake light problem. How many hours did they grab you for for the install I know it is labour intensive.
