• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

VSS fault come and gone??

Started up this morning, temps in the high 30s. Fired right up but the VSS fault was on. So I shut it down and waited a few minutes, started again and all was well. 150 mile ride to Leakey, TX and back with no problems. I figured at the time I would just reboot the thing and that's what worked.
So, did I try to start it before the computer had completed it's thing? The only other thing that I had been working on this week was installing the back rest which meant plugging the seat sensor back in when done.
Thanks.

The computers are real touchy. This seems to be a common problem. When I am booting up, I just let the computer do its thing before I start interfering with it like starting up or something like that. As long as it does not do the VSS fault every time you start up, you are probably okay.

It is scarry for me when the computer starts lighting up for no reason though.
