• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Volt gauge

Harbor Freight has one for $7.99. It's analog which I like.
I just installed it last weekend. Works great!

That looks pretty cool!
Questions:
What wires do you hook the voltmeter up to?
And the clock?

Got the new Prosport voltmeter and clock installed this morning!

I used the existing accessory +12 volts that was already there for the accessory feed.
I ran a wire directly from the battery (BOTH + & -) to the new gauges.
Installed an inline fuse on the positive side and ran that to each gauge for the constant +12 volts. Then used the negative from the battery to both gauges.

Here's what they look like! VERY neat install, everything (except wiring to the battery) was included...AND as a bonus, Prosport Gauges included the sun shields in the package.

When you turn on the key they go thru a startup similar to the analog speedo & tach.
When you turn off the key, because I used the existing accessory feed, they stay on for about 10 - 12 seconds and then go thru a shutdown cycle like the digital screen.
Pretty cool!

Hmmm 12.2 V doesn't seem accurate unless your battery is on the down side!

A fully charge battery should be real close to 13V.

Where did you pick off the 12V from? I hope not the stab on connector for the old meters light?

:agree: 12.2 dosent sound right but like the looks of both just need more info on the connections

Picture was taken during start sequence....It shows ~13.9 when running.

See post #10 for wiring...

I will keep looking live in small town
guess I need to out to the big city

Analog Voltmeter

Installed an analog voltmeter on my wife's RT. I prefer analog (she could care less). We do use a digital method of reading it though...

Me via bluetooth (digital) "What's the voltage" --> meter indicates voltage (analog) --> Wife via bluetooth (digital) "13.8".

It was $9.99 at Princess Auto (Canada's version of Harbor Freight). Yes its waterproof and has survived several rain storms.

Hey Stallion, did you have to remove any Tupper-ware to route the wires to the battery? If so how many and which ones. I buying gauges also. Thanks
