• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Visit to Corbin on the RT

I stopped by Corbin and saw Mike while I was in Daytona to talk him about what he had coming up for the RT. The stock RT seat is pretty nice but I would like a drivers backrest and that pretty much comes as a option with all his seats.

He's working on some armrest and one really cool little mod is you won't have to lift your seat to fuel up. He has made a slick little door that will open with the seat down. I could really use that now seeing I have my bag strapped down to the seat, it's a real pain to fuel up like that and having a door will be killer.

There will be a heated option too but I would suggest turning off any power you don't need like the foglights if you're going to go with heated seats. Mike said they will draw 3 amps and the RT is already pretty much maxed out power wise.

I'll be stopping by there on my trip out west and will take better pics when I get mine installed. :doorag:

Hey Lamonster,

The missus likes the stock seat, but if Corbin makes one that lets you re-fuel without raising the seat she will probably contribute to the fund to buy one:2thumbs:. She hates having to carry her "stuff" when we stop for gas/potty. Come to think about it, she would like to lower her seat, she can't reach the heated part of the passenger hand grips without leaning forward. The only Corbin seat I ever used was on my Buell, and I don't have many good things to say about it. Hopefully the one for the RT will be better.
