• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vintage Motorcycle Ads

That was fun....

Nice collection but bearly scratched the surface of the industry of the time...:bowdown:

And the scary part--I remember those ads when they were "new."

The girls were a nice part of the advertising. Anyone have any additional ads? They barely scratched the surface.

I remember the Norton Ads ( I had a 750 ) .....But " BEEZA " ..... never heard that one ..... my crowd called them " Beemers " .............Thanks , brings back memories ........ Mike :thumbup:

BEEZA was another name for the BSA brand. British also. Fast, fast, fast and loud, loud, loud.

Hey...!

What happened to "You meet the nicest people on a Honda". But, I enjoyed seeing the girls again. Ahhh, memories of my youth.....

I like the old ads and it is interesting how many of the bikes are presented. Some are shown as classy, some are shown for speed, and the old off road bike ads are cool too.

Beemer = motorcycles.

Bimmer = cars.

Spent 10 years riding and wrenching on fine Bavarian vehicles.

305 Super Hawk

That reminds me of my old bike. But when I saw one in Sturgis motorcycle museum last year it seemed so small.

YES, Sometimes these old eyes and the brain get things mixed up. I remember when the 750 Norton :coffee: was 'One of the Bike's to Enjoy'. :thumbup: Gee, how things have changed. :yikes:
