Vince Flynn has died.

I just learned that one of my favorite authors has died of prostrate cancer. Vince Flynn's series of books revolving around operative Mitch Rapp was about the only books I'd buy as soon as they came out in hardcover. Amazon even has a space-holder for what would have been his next book, as yet untitled.

I pray for comfort for his family and mourn the loss of such a talent.

Only 47 at that and because I just discovered him this year, it makes the loss that much more profound.(that and the young age) Not to hijack but I just read about James Gandolfini passing at age 51 and the hero of Mars Attacks!: Slim Whitman has passed at 90. What a week!
