• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm about to take my 2015 RTS to non-CANAM repair shop for state inspection. Can anyone tell me were the VIN number is located.

The swing arm has a label and it is also stamped on the lower frame on the right side. . The locations are shown in your Owners Manual page 160 on 2014 RT manual.

Look on your "motorcycle registration"/ and on your motorcycle "proof of insurance card" that you carry with you( if you get pulled over by police).

Or if you have had any work done by your can-am dealership on their work orders. It is on a "sliver plate" near your belt guard. Deanna

There you have it....

Now the engine number is the fun one. Back home when a bike came to the shop we had to hold the ownership papers and they had to match color, engine, and frame or the cops hauled it off to the pound...:yikes::yikes:

Same goes for most outboard boats round here. PITA:banghead::p

The inspector needs to physically confirm the VIN by looking at it.

Thanks, I did want to take it and find out he has never seen a Spyder and had to go searching for the number. Never thought to look in the manual.
