Any Central Spyder Ryders interested in the opening ceremony on Thursday night??
The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to join in the escort of the Vietnam Traveling Wall on Wednesday July 25th. The escort will start at VFW Post 5540 in Phoenix, and end at VFW Post 369 in Mexico. The route will go through Fulton, to Oswego, and up Rt. 104 to Mexico, approximately 40 miles. Staging for this event is at the Phoenix VFW from 13:00 to 15:00. I would like the PGR to stage no later than 14:15, so as to form for placement in the escort. The American Legion Riders will be riding with us, and there are other groups also participating. The Wall will be assembled on Thursday morning, and be on display 24/7 until sometime Sunday afternoon the 29th. I have also provided a map to Mexico in case you can't join the escort but would like to visit the wall. There is an opening ceremony on Thursday at 1800, and the organizers would like two man teams to represent their organizations with their post flags.
