• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vibration

I have a vibration, especially around 4800 - 5200 RPM, it feels like I'm going over a bridge grate.

Anyone eles experienced anything like this?

Will it hurt to ride it another 100 or so miles? I've got a little over 500 on it now and the dealer is 70 miles away. I'm streatching it out as much as I can stand because I'm waiting on a GPS. I've read that they are on back order till Nov but he said at time of sail he would have one around the 17th. I really don't want to make two trips if I don't have to. But, in 11 days and a wake-up, but who's counting, I'll have plenty of time. Now if something turns out to be more than a one day job, that's another story. I own a 5 by 8' trailor, know anyone that wants to trade for a 6 b610'? Sure would make it easy.

I wouldn't be to concerned about it. Just have them check the tension on your next visit. You're always going to have some vibration from a belt that long but you can move it to a different rpm by adjusting the tension.

In addition to getting the belt checked---- what gear are you in when this happens? Does it happen in all gears? Make sure you're not lugging the engine. Spdyer likes higher than 5,000 rpms for the most part.....

was just about to call dealer about the vibration. i get the same thing at 4500 i will get the book out and read up on proper tension with the drive belt.....
