There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Vibration on the 2013 St

Barbie

Has anyone had a lot of problems with vibration on their STs? I've had the laser alignment, wheel balance, and put the Bajaron sway bar on it. I'm starting to wonder is this normal. It seems like the whole front end is vibrating. I've ridden it around 3000 miles now. It's not getting any better. I also noticed there's probably 10 - 15 weights on them. Any suggestions ????

Tires

There appears to be a lot of problems with defective tires. I would get along to your dealer and get them to check them out. Get them to contact BRP as it is a "known problem"

YES

But mine is from the drive belt. Under certain conditions at just the right speed and RPM's. It has been getting worse the last couple of days. Maybe I need my belt retentioned? Are you sure you are getting your vibration fron the front wheels?

You most likely have a bad tire or tires. I had the same problem with mine.

Jack the front end up in air and spin the wheel. Watch the tire to see that is round.

I installed Barbie's swaybar on Saturday and she asked me about the tires. When I looked, both tires where overloaded with weights, one tire even had weights in the edge of the inside rim (should have taken pictures). I am no tire expert, but I told her that someone was either in training or had no idea what they were doing, but I highly recommended either go to another dealer or demand the original dealer to swap the tires since there have been others reporting bad front tires. She called me on the road Sunday saying that even with the sway bar, the vibration is still there which I was not surprised. I told her to give a little more tire pressure on the tires, and she responded when she got home that it improved a bit, but still vibrating.

2013 vibration

I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to get my new panels put on. When I took it in for the wheel balance they told me that it was normal to have that many weights on a motorcycle. Seemed a little odd to me. I'm going to push the issue when I go in tomorrow. I got on her to move her this morning now she's making some strange noise when I put her in gear. Forward and reverse. Geez....I love my ST but I will be soooo happy when all the bugs are worked out.
