I am curious is this problem able to be seen without tearing t he bike apart first?, even a peek.

I was told by my dealer that with the machine jacked up and the use of a flashlight and mirror you could see just enough from the bottom (meaning you are looking up from the bottom of the bike into the mirror) to tell if the machine has this problem. :dontknow:
On my RT (an SM) you could tell the instant it hit 4100 RPM (in any gear) by the vibration in the foot pegs, and it would continue to vib the pegs thru any cruising RPM range, although somewhat better at some speeds. When your feet are on the pegs and you feel like you are driving over a drainage grate then this is likely the problem.
