• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vibration issue

Thanks for lowering your tone...
This is simply not an "F-3 only" issue; driveline vibrations have been present since day 1. I've even felt them during my meager 25,000 miles of saddle-time.
I keep the belt properly tensioned, and the vibrations are minimalized. :D

If we can get some people to post-up what their tension setting is (possibly if they have a krickit ii) we can
compare notes to see what/where the vibration sits with respect to tension. Who has the latest (wheel off ground)
tension setting on the F3? The more info we have as a group, the better we would all be.

Or even a wheel on ground setting... its all relative. (On-ground will read higher)

:agree: A pool of information would be useful...
At what speeds do you feel the vibration...
...and (If you have it), what sort of belt tension readings do you get from your Krick-it?

So do you own an F3? If not, I do not see how you can make an informed comment. I own an F3 and I have owned a few other belt driven rides in my life and none of them did this. You may not mind paying 24k for a poorly designed commercial vehicle but I do. I am also very aware of the intent of using CAPITOL LETTERS . I wrote want and how I did it that way because I am pissed!

if you think for a second if a tensioner is added and there is a drivetrain failure of any type in the future, BRP will not honor the repair under the warranty.

You're relatively new here but if you stick around you will see that Bob comments on everything - informed or not. He frequently admits that he is no expert, but that doesn't stop him as evidenced by his post count.

BRP has released no information and can't confirm IF this is a problem. I call BRP and am told to get any info I must call the dealer......

I would pressure the dealer to get things right. The bike is under warranty. Have them deal with it. Sometimes I found it necessary to go to a different dealer.
I have 1200 miles on my F3S, can't say that I feel abnormal vibrations.

Had the vibration

I don't ride an F3. I do ride a 14 RTL. I had it (Twenty-seven) in today for the 3k service. I mentioned the vibration between 70-75 mph. They checked my belt tension and it was off. They made an adjustment and I was off for a 200 mile spin around the block. I did not feel the vibration at all. I think proper belt tension will remove most of the vibration. I had some of this on my Harley (99 Thunder Mountain) that I could feel from time to time even though the whole bike vibrated.:roflblack:

Vibration

I don't know if this will mean anything but:

I took delivery of my 2015 RT Limited in March. Let me first say that my dealer has treated me "first rate" in taking care of a vibration problem I experienced between approximately 58 and 64 MPH. He had done an alignment prior to delivery but a spin balance of the front tires as well as a second alignment was done. The vibration was not resolved. He opened a case with BRP. I suggested (after talking with my brother) that he swap out the front tires. He had a set of tires and rims balanced and waiting for me when I got to the shop. He did a test ride and then turned it over to me. The bike is fine now. Had a great four day ryde in and around New Holland, Pa. this month with our club, Maryland Spyder Web.

Took my new F3 in to the dealer to resolve the vibration issue and they said it was within tension and alignment specs. Still have the vibration. For what it's worth, the phone number for BRP Corporate service that the dealer gave me was 715-848-4957. You can register any unresolved service issue with BRP directly and they will give you a case number. Give the case number to the dealer and they will work with the experts at BRP to hopefully resolve your vibration issue. My dealer (now at the 2nd one in my area) has three F3's at the dealership now, including mine, and are working to resolve. I will post any news on a fix or any technical data they may have to resolve the vibration issue between 65-75. Hope that helps.
