• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Vibration Damper Roll Call

100 miles. just got it installed earlier this week.

BRP junk was already giving up the ghost after 3k miles.

On the blue

Hi Doc ,
We have them on our two F3-S only have about 2K on them , Cindy is on summer break now so let the fun begin .
Awesome product , easy install and made the bikes a lot more fun to drive no vibrations now IMG_0487.jpg
:2thumbs:.

It's a quality piece but have not had a chance to ride since I put it on 3 weeks ago. It's been to darn hot and once I get home from a 14 hr day in 117 degree heat all I want to do is have a beer. Hope to ride in the next few weeks if work and weather allow.

I installed the BRP junk a few weeks ago, just to see if it would make a difference--cheap $35 test. I fully acknowledge I will have to upgrade it to Doc's blue roller in the future, but I like the buttery smoothness with a dampner.

One vote for Doc's

I have about 900 miles on the Doc modified BRP roller damper. It made the problem go away. Now I have to upgrade to the new blue roller from Doc. Oh I also put on a smoothspyder vibration damper about about a year ago, before Doc came out with his product, and it did nothing. Waste of money.

Well I have the Smoothspyder Belt Tensioner on my F3 LTD and it works great! No vibration at all. Where as before between 60 and 70 it was terrible. I shift and ride with the greatest of ease and with a smile as I go.

Just saying..:ohyea:

Just removed my BRP damper after only 1200 miles! The roller is loose, bearing I think. Called BRP and they said thank you for the call. I don't know why they won't fix it. It just needs a better pulley.
