• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Veterans Day Spyder ride.

Rode in the Veterans Day parade in Melbourne, FL again this year...and really glad I did. There were at least 30 Spyder riders there and, as usual, riding in the parade is something that makes me feel good. Saw many other veterans along the parade route...including a number of WW-II vets. Wow! (I'm a Vietnam vet)

Anyway, it was a fun and uplifting Spyder ride!

Sounds like you had a good time.

We also rode on veterans day. Paid holiday for me, my wife took a vacation day. Weather was not as nice as was forecast but we still rode almost 200 miles. Went down to Havre de Grace Md to have lunch at the Tide Water Grill. Great day and good food. :D

Tidewater does have good food.

Rode in our parade Wednesday. I was the only Spyder. The Harley guys were making themselves heard. So I thought, hmmmm. So I did a couple of burnouts. People loved it. But that wasn't the point of the parade.

My wife and I (I too am a Viet Nam Vet)came down from Middleburg Friday to have some work done at US1 Power Sports, and then Saturday did a ride with the Spyder Ryders, it was a Mystery Ride, and were supposed to attend the Veterans Appreciation get together Sunday, but decided to try and beat the rain Sunday. If we had know about the parade Ride, I think we might have stayed and enjoyed the day. Friends of ours did the ride, they were on a black RT Limited.

Maybe next year.
