• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Very interesting trailer

Definitely French. The web-site Top-trailer.com is al in French. But the YouTube vid indicates a US Patent statement. Maybe someone in the US will step up as a dealer. I'd be interested.

Yeah..when you go to their site, you can have it translated to English. But even then I was unable to complete the Request for Information Form, on my tablet. May work with a laptop or desktop.
I like the design and think it would also be a great dual purpose trailer, with the low ride height, for running errands to Lowes and such. The hand powered hydraulic pump is pretty cool, too.

THAT TRAILER

..That trl. may be made in France , however I have seen other trailers with the same mechanism ( under-carriage ) made in the USA.........Un-fortunately I didn't copy which one/s .....but they are out there............Mike

I know there are power ones, but I like the minimalistic set up of this one..

If anyone knows of a US company with this set up, please share..

I think I like this one more, dedicated for the spyder. But im too busy riding my spyder to have it on a trailer:doorag::roflblack::roflblack::clap:

I just like the dual purpose. Can double as a hauler for other stuff as well.

Tilt beds are nice. I'm impressed with the way this one folds up the light bar when the bed tilts down. That's intriging.

Not clear on why the hydraulics are needed. The pivots could be set such that the bed tilts down when unlatched and then over balances and tips up when the spyder is loaded. Then again, I don't know where the spyder CG is. Could be they would have had to make it a foot longer to get that to happen.

Still, interesting design.

Nice trailer

One problem with a tilt trailer is that it causes too great of an angle for the frunk to clear when loading in some cases. The nice feature on this trailer is that the entire axle assy. rotates, dropping down. From the hitch to the back of the trailer would make a shallower angle, allowing the bike to load without hitting in the front. The hydraulic jack looks simple and the hinge pin substantial enough to hold the load easily. I also liked the tire stops but I would certainly use tie downs and not just rely on the parking brake.
One think to think about: This shows are car. If you have a truck it might raise the the height enough to be an issue. And of course they do make drop down receiver adapters.
Just some thoughts. Nice unit.

Trailers

The utility trailer presents one problem. The bed height is 18 inches high. The ramp length is 48 inches long. My Spyder RT ground clearance is four and one half inches. To load my RT on a level utility trailer without scraping the bottom of the bike, auxiliary ramps eight feet long would be required.
I did not see any tie-down points being used in the French trailer.

You can actually address the ramp problem with a couple of 4 foot long 2x6's...

Baxley Trailer

I looked up the website for the Razor brand trailer and really like the way they operated. While on YouTube searching for videos of how they work, I also came across this Baxley trailer. I liked this concept even more than the Razor because it can stay connected to the tow vehicle while you lower and raise the trailer bed.

I emailed the folks at Baxley trailer to see if they have a model that works for Spyders and the good news is "yes". The bad news is that it is a $6100 trailer FOB in Alabama. They even sent me this great picture of a Spyder superimposed on top of their trailer. They seem like very nice folks. Even offered to put me up for the night with a free Southern cooked meal!

Got an email today...

And they are interested in selling the trailer in the IS and Canada. They asked if I knew a manufacturer near me that may be interested. I am wondering if the are actually interested, or if there was a miscommunication due to the language barrier.
I tried copying and pasting the email but couldn't do it with my phone
