• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. First let me say this is my own comments and opinion on these products, there is no promise or free stuff of any kind from them, I just believe that if you see a great products for our Spyders you should share it and say something, with that being said:

I cut my Miami trip short and flew home on Saturday night went to bed got up at 4 am on Sunday and drove from New Jersey to Canada to the Montreal Motorcycle Show to check out the Vertika Trykes panels/add on for our RS/GS.

Real nice bunch of people they are, got the chance to see all the panels on a Spyder and all the panels looks great. The fit and finish are top notch and they really complement the bike and give a better looking style and the floor boards also give a more riding comfort, they have two different sets of floor boards one design for rider only (I like) and the other for both rider and passenger as well as two different top/side vents. The two different floor boards and top vents are designed to give a look of one being a sport look and the other a touring look as it was told to me and again I like the sport look. I have to say the new front bumper look much better in person especially with the trunk lid top panel, the two tone paint job spyder they had on display (red/black) that were all decked out with there panels look awesome and give the bike a much more aggressive look and it all looks like it came this way from the factory. They do have a few more panels on the way in the coming weeks but I can't not talk about them, (not my place to).

For all your new RT owners I did not forget you, they had on display the new floor board and it will complement with RT just great. By looking at this piece I was able to see the work that goes into all of there pieces and they are solid made. Now for me I have to save my pennies and decide on the panels I want but I do not think anyone will be disappointed with any of the panels for our spyder and it is great to have choices as we all have different riding styles and taste, and now it's off to bed with only 4 hours of sleep the night before and driving round trip 14 hours to spend 2 at the show I am about to pass out, good night to all.

I went on Saturday and saw that bike. The nose piece looks all right, but the rest of it is horrid. No difference than the guy with the Civic putting a huge wing on the trunk. Ricetastic. The blue RS was nice but they killed it with the chrome on the fenders and the front rims. Looked like hub caps. The rest of the chroming was nice.

Now the Amsoil girl was top notch.

I had to search for what these are. . . . .

. . . . . here is a link for the rest of you, who like me, had not heard of these.

I bought the nose cone from them - very good quality and fit/finish. But add $200+ to all prices for shipping and taxes/tarrifs. It took me 6 weeks to get the front nose from the day it was charged to my card.

Just a heads up.

You can follow the link on our board to their site and check out the pics of every panel they make. They have 3 new items for the RT. You can get them painted to match or primered for custom paint.

Here are some pictures from the show of the bike we had on display

Hey Joe, That is is alot of hardware on your Spyder, Looks Great! I wanted to see a good shot of the sport side panel and comfort running board. Does this setup move the hot air from the engine away from your legs? That would be great for summer riding. Have you thought about a closeable vent to direct engine heat toward you for colder riding? How about setting up a distributor in the U.S. to reduce shipping cost? Keep up the great work.
