• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wife and I maybe be going to Vegas the first week in November, for the Sema show. Looking for some advice on hotels on the strip.

This will be my 17th strait year. Best deal for SEMA is to check rates at SEMA.org
Here's a ling to the lodging page for the show.

Try picking a hotel near a tram station as that's the easiest way to get to the convention center. MGM Grand is the tram station start point so in the morning its much easier getting space when its empty. MGM Grand or NY NY would be my picks. BTW remember the dreaded Daily Resort fee that's not shown in the price per night.
Let me know if you do attend.

I like the Paris. Get in the section by the Tower. You have beautiful nighttime views of the Mirage Water Show. At night, its something else. Try Gordon Ramsays Steakhouse and the Eiffel Tower restaurant also.

Also, don't think they have adopted a fee for valet or other parking like most of the others.

Went for our honeymoon 10 yrs ago, stayed at Treasure Island. It was very nice, and about midway of the strip. I know a few people that say Freemont Street is a better time than the strip....? Cheaper too. Might be worth looking into..?

MGM properties charge for parking.

There are a few places just north of the convention center that have tram stops. The Westgate and SLS. We took the tram in that direction at lunch and it was easy on and off.

All of the MGM properties, and there are more than 10 on the Strip, now charge for parking. :yikes:
