• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vanity Plates

custom plates

Strange, I purchased my Honda Gold Wing, a GL1500 SE, a year 2000 model in June of 2000. Six months later I applied for a personal plate. Every year since, my fee to renew my registration has been $18.00!?! Now the SO's vehicle is $36.00 per year and my compact pick up is $56.00 per year!?! None of those two vehicles have a personal plate! Dagg, I hope the politicos in Penna do not read this post!!!! $56.00 per year for a personal use pick up? Now that in my opinion is just wrong!
BTW, the plate on the wing is Y2KSE, works for me. Ha Ha!!
Love and respect, Moezie

i went to the DMV to ask for SPYDER, and since it was already taken, the woman asked if i had another choice... then she said, "isn't that the new 3 wheeled bike" and it hit me... SPYD3R... so here we are, TWINS... :2thumbs:

So if you're Arnold; that makes me Danny! Twins-1988.jpg

Does this count...not really a vanity plate, but it is what I have.

Okay, thanks, Lamont. I may be paranoid, but as many know, I had an ECM and a throttle body replaced recently. It took 6 weeks to get the TB replaced, but that was not BRP's fault. Anyway, I have been running BR1 kinda hard and it seems to me he is running better with a small increase in gas mileage....I guess anything is possible, but I actually believe he is running stronger in all areas....maybe I just want it to be....more later on this.

:spyder2:

As you can see it is less expensive to add a Number in Illinois. We ave been using 7 on all our car plates. My Harley is HMR HD 1.
