• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Now there's a 3 wheeled 'sports car' type trike that's not butt ugly!!

Not that I'm too excited by them atm, but at least looking at the Vanderhall prompts some interest & doesn't make me want to throw up yesterday's breakfast nor immediately want to question the sanity of those who seem to think that their Slingshot's are 'beautiful' in the eye of all beholders!!

By way of comparison, even with that nose cone the Vanderhalls actually look 'completed' & don't look too bad at all; probably because they have none of the Slingshot's striking resemblance to something a Decepticon threw up after a week long bender followed by a sound thrashing at the fists of Optimus Prime! ;)

Yea well all I want to know is what brand of rear tire, mileage they get from it and what kind of pressure

do they run in it?
:joke:

Can't help you much with the mileage, Jack; but there seems to be a coupla different tread patterns shown in their Gallery, altho the tires all look like they are Toyo's (definitely NOT Kenda's) & cos they are 19" rim dia 235/35Z's up front & 20" rim dia 315/30Z's up the back, they probably run relatively high pressures to help the low profile tires keep the expensive metal bits off the Tarmac!! Maybe they need to go even as high as 28-34 psi cold, altho I noticed that the Toyo 315/35x20's only need 26psi in them to carry 1300lbs, so the light weight of the vehicle might warrant a slightly lower pressure. ;)

There are questions on a few variables that'd need to be answered before you could work out pressures any more accurately - and remember, because of the differences in how & where people ride/drive, what pressure works best for you might not be correct or optimal for another driver in a virtually identical vehicle!

Very nice...

It is a good looking three wheeler in the autocycle catagory...There seem to be quite a few out there and a bit over $6800.00 and mileage may not be great but they are out there....one of my favorite ones, at least the looks, is......

Looks like right now they have models that sell from $50,000 to $70,000
but they are coming out with a model that starts at $30,000
Car only weighs 1375 pounds

Sat in one yesterday. Very nice engineering. It is FWD. With the top on it was very difficult to get in and out of. Also looking out the windshield was challenging. Both of these would be easier with the top off. The dealer here at this Avon Colorado event sells both Slingshots and the Vanderhall. Not too sure it will be a SS competition due to current price point.

At a price almost 3 time the sling shot it will not take away any sales, as for our spyder no worries at all but it does look
awesome.

Vanderhall

What is the market for this vehicle? The Slingshot is having trouble being licensed in some states. The Slingshot is being viewed as car, because of the seating arrangment and the steering wheel. According to Texas a motorcycle is,in part described as inline seating and handelbars not a steering wheel.

If the Vanderhall is a car, where are the 5 mh bumpers and other auto safety devices? Same question for the Slingshot.

I think the engineering is great, but @ $77,000 only a select few will ever own one. It will make a good converstion starter.

My $.02
