• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are the tale Tele signs of needing a valve ajustment I have a 2012 RTS with 41k trouble free miles.

Noise...!!

there are others less noticable but the main sign is tappet noise. I use a mechanics stethescope (like a doctors but with a long needle at the end). If there is minimal noise and no significant difference between them your fine. Listen on cilynder heads all four points. At 40,000 it may be time depending on use...

Noise seems to be the warning of valves needing an adjustment. If you have not yet had them checked on your machine, it might be time at 41K.

Early on, I went with a 10K (as recommended) on my 2008--no adjustment needed.

I then went to an adjustment on my 2010 at 28K and also did not need any adjustment.

Mind made up, that I am going to let the 2011 go until I hear noise, if any. 16K and counting.

The 2014 triples do not need any adjustment maintenance whatsoever.

The bill for an adjustment is about $800, so it is a large chunk of change.
