• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got my tax notice for my 2011 Spyder RT limited and NC is saying it has a value of $16,500. To me that sound high and would sell it for that. Any ideas what the going value is?

That's probably based on NADA, which it seems based on discussions here and my experience, is unrealistically high. Your best bet is to find for sale ads, and reports of actual sales, and go have a chat with the tax assessor. Sold listings on eBay may help. I'm not getting a lot of bites on my 2013 RT base at $12,000.

Since you're dealing with some form of "Tax Assessment"; they're NOT looking to set a realistic value... They're looking to squeeeeeeze every nickel out of you that they can! :gaah:

I would sell my house tomorrow for the assessed valuation they are claiming. My swampy 2.5 acres of woods is worth $40K + per acre. :roflblack::roflblack: The only good thing going for me currently is that I get a $150K tax break on assessed valuation because I am a "senior" citizen. That saves me about 1/2 of my taxes.
