• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife and I are riding from Southeast Texas to North Carolina in November to do the "Tail of the Dragon". Does anyone know a good place to camp with a tent?

Kickstand is great. We like Mile high Campground. There is also a very inexpensive Motel called Apple Cover Inn that we have stayed at nothing fancy but clean. Balsam Mountain looks like a nice place its right down the road from Mile High.

There is a camp on the NC side of Deals gap as well as cabins for rent. I believe it's called the "Sands of Time" camp ground. Prices are very reasonable. If you are going to be the 1-3 of November, there will be a group from the NC Spyder chapter that weekend. Most will be staying in Robbinsville, NC at the Microtel. There are allot of different rides in that area besides Deals Gap.

we just got back from there. If you have a chance ride the blue ridge between ashville and cherokee---beautiful!!
