• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

V twin taking ages to fire up - any thoughts on this?

Back in the day I had a 2013 RT, and on 2 occasions (both after trailering bike) the bike wouldn't start. It would crank over fine but not start. After around 10 secs of cranking it timed out and this took around 3 "cycles" before the bike finally, reluctantly, spluttered into life. i never pursued the issue and have since moved on, but a friend with 2015 RSS rang and she has the same problem. My thought was a non-return valve in the fuel line, maybe letting fuel drain back to the tank. She hadn't trailered her bike either. Does anyone have a thought on this? It is totally intermittent. Try T.W.O (Throttle Wide Open). Has been helpful, & follow up with some tlc fresh ethanol free 93 octane or better. Maybe take a peak at throttle bodies & replace fuel/air filters. General service items inspection.

Fuel. Wide open throttle is generally for a FLOOD CLEAR scenario. A fuel pressure test will provide an indication of what is wrong.
