• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I installed, with help from a friend, last weekend the Utopia backrest. I had read great reviews on the backrest on Spyderlovers and it's pretty early to tell, but so far I agree. But I was thinking, as many backrests as they sell to Spyderlovers, how come they're not a sponsor?

I guess like J&M Audio, to name one, they don't need to be. But it would be great for the site if they were. More sponsors might help bring down the cost of being one.

Good idea about becoming a sponser. They do get a lot of play on here. I put one on my 2010 before I drove it off the lot.

I have one in the box...What did you use to cut through the foam?...Do the measurements have to be exact,or is there a little wiggle room?...Thanks

Ha Ha...no scotch needed!!..They sent the wrong one..but got the right one today ...came home from my 600 mile service and installed it......Was easier than I thought, but couldn't and wouldn't have done it without the help and comments from here...Especially Mrfats!!!!:clap::thumbup:

Words of advice....Take the backrest off (RT) and place plenty of towels in the openings so if you drop any hardware..:cus:....you won't lose it....i had towels everywhere, except one place I missed...Guess where the special nut hop, skipped and jumped to...You guessed it...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:banghead:
