• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Utopia Backrest install on a 2022 RTL - where's the bar?

According to the instructions, you loosen the 2 bolts 2 turns so that you can slide the backrest bracket above a 1" steel bar that supposedly runs between the 2 bolts. I can't see any steel bar under the plastic cover and the bolt on the drivers side was completely loose and does not thread into anything!!!
The bracket seemed to install OK otherwise.
I wonder if this bar has been deleted or was never installed???

PS; Andy at Utopia was great to deal with during the ordering process. He could not tell for sure what color thread was on my seat, so he has sent some samples for me to compare. The thread on my seat seems to have slight blue tinge.
Since I wanted to get the backrest asap, I had him make one with grey thread, which looks fine.
