• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Using cruise while I Went on a ride today....

I went on a 233 mile ride today to it 2 of Oregon's checkpoint dams on the dam tour. I managed to follow the GPS way to far on dirt roads and went back out to find paved roads in. My question is, while coming home on Interstate 84 the cruise control disengaged twice when I hit small bumps like the small grove with the night time reflectors. Has this happened to anyone else and is it anything that should be checked out?
Thanks

If the Spyder bumps hard enough to jiggle the brake pedal, the cruise can disengage. Same goes if you lose traction a little bit and wake up Miss Nanny. There are some variables to consider before you decide to report it to a dealer. If your foot is touching the brake pedal, it can hit it and cause the bobble. If you have a brake pedal extension, the extra weight can increase the likelihood of this happening. If you have none of these aggravating variables, and it happens frequently enough to be a significant bother, you may want to ask your dealer if the brake switch can be adjusted a bit to reduce the sensitivity.

:agree: Mine was adjusted so closely that very occasionally, if I let up off the brake pedal ever so slightly, the brake lights would stay on. Any bounce (pot hole ... tar strip ... etc) would cause the cruise to drop out.

You can actually hear the switch transfer. Make sure that the pedal has to move a little distance before it clicks or it just may be too tight. Had to take it to dealer twice to have it done right.

What Scotty said. The cruise/nanny combo is such that it can seem to be rather sensitive. And not to belabor a point, you have to watch where your feet are when the cruise in engaged.
