• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So I was on my way home from work today, happened to see a silver and black RS at a cycle dealer in Wilson NC. So thought I'd stop and see who it might be. Whle looking found out it was a trade in. Was talking to the salesman and told him I own an RT S. He's like "WOW Man, can you tell us about these things". So i told him what I knew. So here's the deal, this is a '08 RS PE SM5, has 10,400 on the odometer. But the kicker... won't shift :gaah:. I tried driving it at their request. Shift to second it drops right into neutral. Finally get to third but that's it, then it won't go back to first. I left it parked in third and suggested they get it to a dealer that knows how to work on :spyder2:. I asked them if they checked fluids etc. but they don't know how. Oh, the asking price... 10,500. It had VA inspection stickers on it. And 2 Bros pipe.

I assume that dealer isn't a Spyder dealer :yikes:

No. Hondas, Kawis, 4 wheelers etc. Salesman said former owner traded it for an automatic Honda. I'm wondering if the former owner was a member of this site?????

Just as an aside, I didn't mean to imply that this was not a good dealer. The folks I met were very nice. They just don't deal with :spyder2:
