• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Use of a Floor Jack?

Are there any areas under the spyders that are structured sound enough to use a floor jack?(front & rear)

Sure

I use a floor jack all thee time. Under the lower control arm to raise the front wheel for cleaning or service. Under the rear swing arm just in front of the rear tire to raise the back tire.

I use my Harley jack stand. Slips right under the frame just behind the front wheels jacks right up balances great. I've lifted my Spyder in the air and left it for a couple weeks.

Disregard the first pic,the second shows the jack point that will lift the Spyder off the ground on all 3 wheels.

Use of a Floor Jack

My dealer used the same floor jack and one of the lugs dented the frame. If you have the same jack put some thing to cushion the jack plate. Just my two cents.

:agree: Preferably a rubber jack pad that slips over the cup. The Spyder will not lift perfectly balanced, and the rubber pad will keep it from slipping off the jack until you can get jack stands under it.
