• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I found the Dual USB power outlet I installed in the lower dash just under the handlebars can get broken when you crank the bars and they hit the phone/GPS USB cable that sticks out high. So . . . I got another one, but this one is beefier and puts out more power AND has a voltage display that shows voltage depending on how you power it. I'm also getting a 90 degreeUSB plug 12" cable so the handlebars won't cause the cable to break it again. There are also 90 degree adapters.

When I had the older version, like you broke, in my ST I got the 90 degree adapter. The handlebars would not hit the usb cable anymore.

What I would like is a smart charging port with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2 or 3 spec. Most modern phone and tablet are quick charge compatible, Apple and most android. But they don't make them in mountable form yet.

I found a video how to install on canamspyderaccessories.com looks pretty straightforward.. no problem!! my next project! :2thumbs:
