• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

USB not working

Not sure what the difference is but when we converted from our Ultra Classic to the CanAm we had the same problem.
I bought newer thumb drives and re downloaded our MP3 files which play now on the F3T and her RT Limited.
You might try that and see if it works.

This doesn't seem to work on the RTL 2018. I tried the USB in the trunk, just in case, knowing that those are only for charging. Then tried the USB in the frunk , the one for the BRP connect. No luck either. I guess they cut a lot of good stuff on the 2018, like the CB... Too bad.

That's interesting. I wonder when they made that change. It's located where my 12v cigarette lighter outlet is.

2018 RTL doesn't even have a 12V cigarette lighter plug. No where. Just a double USB port in the trunk use for charging only, do not transfer data. One USB in the frunk for the BRP connect. Cannot be used for anything else. Stupid, stupid, stupid BRP....

Me too..

Pete, Our RT Limited has a USB connection in the rear case that we plug a USB stick / thumb drive into to play music files.
I thought all RTs had that option but maybe its just the Limited. Its all new to us but we area enjoying learning all the differences slowly but surely.

The RT-S also has the USB. On the RT-S (without GPS) take off the right side on tied to the frame is an 1/8" audio jack. Run an extension up to the handlebars and plug into your phone. Set the MODE to NAV. I use the phone GPS and Amazon Prime Music.
