US Cannonball purchase

Hey Guys and Gals,

I am getting Daylong to make me a seat, but I need a Cannonball seat to send to them. It is too expensive to ship from here, and this US source seems to be about the best price on eBay.....anyone know anything about them before I pull the trigger?

Thanks Tom......they are both low $800s, while Smith Marine LLC above (an online store) is $570. That's a considerable difference, which is why I thought I'd check. I'm a firm believer in "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably IS ! "

Why do you need the cannonball seat and not the stock seat?

I gave my stock seat to a mate who had damaged his, so I only have the Cannonball for my photos that I have to send to Russell, and since the shape of the two is slightly different, I need to send Russell a Cannonball.
