• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Urgent Purchasing advice.

All this noodling... what happened to "Just do it!" :D

So you bought it right? How could anyone resist :spyder:

Where's the pictures?!

When's the first road trip?

DO IT--- and then get the BEST Warranty for 3 years of extra coverage. Find a good dealer and have them make sure all the recent updates are done--- have them do an oil change, etc.... they should also be able to tell if the 600 mile service was done by hooking up to budds.

I'd go for the auction instead of just forking over 9500--- although 9500 is a good deal--- I bet you can get it cheaper...

Keep us posted!:2thumbs:

Man, it's all in what you want. The M109 is a fine machine, but I feel you'll have nore fun on the Spyder! The price is right also, and you do have some warranty left. I agree with Firefly and obtain a BEST warranty if you do go Spyder. '08's had their issues, so you want to be protected.

If I didn't have the back I have I would be on 2 wheels myself. But since I now have 2 Spyders I sure have no regrets! :2thumbs:

Great replies so far... How about... the Spyder is a Repo? It appears to be in new condition still... Just a lil dusty from the storage garage. I emailed BRP to see if the warranty is still valid, they have yet to respond!! That has been a week, and now I have 2 hours to decide before it hits the auction block. If I pay the 9500, its mine... no auction.

Nothing necessarily wrong with a repo. Still taking a chance but for the money it sounds like a good bet. Can you start it and ride it?
