• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Urgent - any iseas

There's s still a linkage in the SE setup, that can loosen up...

And I'm glad to hear that you found and fixed the problem! :congrats:  :2thumbs:

Can you please explain where this linkage is located on the SE. I know it has the shaft where a foot shift lever can be mounted but what Linkage ? :dontknow:

I was under the impression is shifts with a electric solenoid.

Yup: It does!
The "Paddles send the signals (eventually!) down to a solenoid.
That solenoid is attached to the "Foot-Shift-Shaft", by the linkage; that loosened up.

All models have the linkage. Remove left lower panel, or jack bike up. Behind the left foot peg . You will see the cable that runs to the spline linkage. Sometimes could work loose or knocked off by debris.

SE5 HCM

Here is a pic of the SE5 HCM unit. The red arrow points to the shift lever. That is the connection from the HCM to the gear box. It should be checked every oil change. If it slides on the spline shaft the pinch bolt needs to be tightened.
