• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

yes, I would factor that in after I got the OTD price

If they are doing a valid OTD price they would be calculating as follows:

Selling to a resident of the same state in which the dealer is located: OTD includes all charges (base, sales tax if any, registration, license, shipping and dealer prep + any optional equipment or services you asked for).

Selling to a resident of a state in which the seller does not have a sales location: OTD includes all basic charges (base, shipping, dealer prep and any optional equipment or services) BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE Sales tax (you pay that to your home state when registering your vehicle) registration and license.

Shipping charge here is the shipping from BRP factory to the dealer. There may or may not be additional shipping from the dealer to you.

This calculation is sales within the USA. Canada is obviously different since their taxing laws are different.

Lots of GREAT prices on their website! And it says freight and set-up is included in their low price.

I think now with all the internet sales and out of state buying, the OTD price is everything but tax. Back in the day OTD was including tax because you were talking to your buddy next door or at work, not across the country.

have it sent to Arkansas, you can pick it up next year! :)

That will definitely be something to consider once I am officially there. I don't want my brother to have control of MY :ani29: for a year. :roflblack::roflblack:

Guess I will wait and try to figure out how to ship the three current ones there.

If one reads the post it says these are the prices delivered anywhere in the continental US.
"As always, all prices include free delivery anywhere in the continental US."This would be to any state (continental US) including IL where the dealer is located.
I did not see any mention of "out the door" pricing. Since that is a huge variable.
We can opine about the pricing but it really is clearly stated. And if you actually visit the iMoto website (like a couple of us) before opining, you'll learn a bit.GearHd gets it.

Great prices as always. And yes, you have to take care of your own taxes in your state, but the only other fee involved is about $165 doc. fee. This is where I made my purchase last April. It was a pain free as any purchase that I have ever made. Great people to work with.
So, in short, add $165 to the price published and you are done until you get it registered in your own state.

Thanks guys, we don't check this as often as we should. There is a doc fee of $165, no freight, no setup, no weird hidden fees. Taxes depend on state, some require us to collect. It can also depend on how you pay for the bike, some finance companies require we collect tax etc. But for the most part its a very straight-forward process and pricing structure.

The only offers on 2018's are the current factory programs. If we offer anything else they tend to slap us around :yikes:
