• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Glad to hear this. Bad but could have been a lot worse.

I wonder if a dealership gets a knot in their stomach every time they put someone on a demo bike. This has got to be a nightmare for everyone concerned.

I hope the truth comes out and not a bunch of finger pointing where you never really find out what happened.

Good to hear. No word on why it happened?

well i took it out all day on thursday and 2 other people took it out on friday ... so in my opinion it was rider error ..... but thats just my opinion .... i know it is easy to over compensate on the steering on the RT if you are not use to it ...

Glad he is gonna be ok! I think it could have been rider error also. I remember my first test ride - was so different than riding two wheels and I was overcompensating on the steering - I remember that. And I had a death grip on the bars which is a No No.

I was at a bike dealer a few weeks ago looking at a Yamaha and saw this guy test riding a Triumph - TALK ABOUT SCARY! I said something to one of the sales guys when I went in there. They just let him have the bike and go on his merry way w/ nobody following him. He almost hit some parked cars in the street when I was arriving and he was a foot dragger.

Glad to hear that he's going to be OK. It's never easy to come back after even a minor MC accident, so best of luck to him. From my own first experiances on steering the Spyder rather than countersteering it :agree:it was probably rider error.
