• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

THEY FOUND THE LITTLE BOY IN THE WATER AT DISNEY, THEY SAID THE BODY WAS INTACT and they will do tests to see if they also caught the alligator that did it. RIP LITTLE MAN

If there's anything to be thankful for: this is it...
But somehow: this still feels like a pretty crappy deal for his family, and my heart goes out to them...

I cannot fathom what the father and family is going through. My heart aches for them.:pray::pray::pray:

Terrible situation for all involved. My only comment is that the parents should have done a better job of keeping the boy under there supervision. Letting a 2 year old paly in the water that is posted no swimming seems like a parental control issue. That said RIP young lad.

someone on one of the shows said something that makes sense to me. first the father was with the boy, and people said they saw him trying to grab the boy and the gator, but it was too strong. the other point brought up was, the family is from the west coast, so seeing a no swimming sign to them meant just what it said. people from Florida know there are gators around the waters down there, so with no sign warning about alligators, this father had no idea

I was wondering the same thing, if maybe no swimming meant no swimming but did not mean no wading to the family. No swimming signs are often posted because of health hazards, so wading and then washing after may not be a real problem. Hopefully authorities in FL will reconsider the warning on their signs so there is no room for ambiguity.

On the other hand some people just don't believe signs, and chafe against the restrictions they impose. We'll probably never know why the boy was allowed to wade.

 I'm really trying to not turn this into a slugfest over Disney... nojoke

Or over the Parent's responsibility in their actions...

Disney has an admirable safety record, and they go out of their way to make their guest feel pampered and special.
But how many people would consider going to a resort that was surrounded by warning signs about Alligators? :dontknow:

I've vacationed there more times than I can count. I've seen the "no swimming" signs. Some of them even have pictures of alligators posted beneath them...
This is nothing other than a horrible accident... nothing more; nothing less.
