• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Update on Speakers

After much hemming and hawing and endless searches for JBL 2 ohm speakers, I bit the bullet and bought Hogtunes 352F-AA 5.25" 2 ohm speakers! Started installation on Saturday (glad that I watched Finless Bob's video!) but due to the heat, didn't get to the left side of the bike until yesterday. I haven't had it on the road yet, but a brief listen in the garage showed that the blood and sweat was worth it! Once I am able to get back out, I will give a review. Oh, yes, only one screw and a rubber grommet left over!!

I hope you notice a difference with all the work you are doing.
I put them in my Road Glide and I was disappointed with them and ended up taking them out and went a different route.
It's a shame the speaker manufactures are dropping 2 ohm speakers, it doesn't leave much choice.
Keep us updated, eager to hear what you think.

There was a similar speaker discussion a month or so back and " GoldenSpyder " found KICKER 5.25" - 2 ohm Marine speakers - model # 10PS5250 and He thought they sounded great ...... Mike

One other thing that I found out about by watching the Finless Bob video was the Chapman mini ratchet set. I ordered one, but it came the day after I finished the project. I t would have made the removal and installation of the speakers a WHOLE lot easier!!!!
