• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Update on Butch

Butch was on his way this morning to one of Caswell's
rides with his wife Paula following on her Spyder when Butch struck a deer.

Butch was first brought to the hospital in Mora and then air lifter to a hospital in Minneapolis.
where they removed his spleen that was shattered.

Butch is in critical condition. Please pray for Bruce and Paula as the next 24 hours are critical.

Sadly I have to report the Butch did not make it. We truly lost a good one today!

Prayers for him. Deer are why I no longer ryde at night, even though I used to love long trips at night . . . way too many around.

RIP Butch

Sadly I have to report the Butch did not make it. We truly lost a good one today!
My thoughts and prayers go out to Paula and family. I've only known Butch for a little over a year, but feel a great loss. He always makes a memorable warm and friendly impression. I've always looked forward to our monthly Caswell Rydes where I could see his smiling face and shake his hand.

BUTCH'S PASSING

This is absolutely the worst thing I wanted to read on Spyderlovers today or any day........Many, many prayers to Paula and the family >>>>> Mike

We lost a great guy today. Always looked forward to hanging with my Minnesota peeps at Spyderfest. Good, quality people. Butch was a gentle man with a great sense of humor and caring nature. Damn I'm gonna miss seeing him being 'tall' around me. Take care Paula, Heather and family. We are here for you.
