Update from Missouri--MoGang -- SpyderFest

Hope everyone is well, just wanted to let you know how MoGang and some of us are doing.

There have been a couple of rydes one to Nashville and the other the Natchez Trace. From everyone's pictures it looks like they had a great time. Unfortunately Kev and I were not able to attend either of these due to work.

Several of us did convene on Springfield the weekend of August 12 -13- 14th for the Annual Rte 66 Festival. It was a great time and beautiful weather!!!

Upcoming
LaMont's Spyder in the Ozarks Sept 22-25. Looking forward to that!!! We have two of the Aussie's, Mike and Catrina, coming!!!!

MoGang Branson Ryde October 7 -8- 9th. We will be staying at the Best Western at the Landing. Do we know anything on what time we will be leaving PitBull and head to Branson. The answer to that is a very firm NO!!! LOL We will get something posted as soon as we can.

We will start planning SpyderFest 2017 in the next couple of months, so stay tuned for updates. I can tell you two small pieces of information. Lamplighter North and Best Western Coach will be two of the Spyder Friendly hotels and are currently accepting reservations, but you have to call the hotel, you can not make reservations on line. That being said the dates are April 26, 27, 28 & 29.

For my last update...... it is about me. I have started driving!!!!! Kev has the F3 so I get Big Red, the 2011 RTS. I am having a blast. I have not had that much time, but while in Springfield, I experienced driving through the city of Springfield (you all know what that can be like on a Saturday), then it was out on I-44 as we headed to Len & Vanessa's for a BBQ, while on 65 I even put my feet up on the highway pegs!!. Last but not least, I drove back to the hotel at night. (Had to make sure to text Len when I got back to the hotel!! To let him know I made it home safe and sound) I truly appreciated his concern, but want to hit him we he told us we could leave one Spyder at the house and pick it up in the morning. No I was doing it.

I do not know, I guess they will make a decision sooner or later as to who the Guest Hosts will be.

I vote for Cruzr Joe to host the Best Western again. That is a fantastic hotel and Joe and his wife couldn't be better hosts.

We plan to come to town for Spyders in The Ozarks in a couple weeks....We just may stop in and book our room at the BWCH while we're in town. I vote for Cruzr Joe as the host..:bowdown: We stayed up the street for Spyderfest 2016, but roamed down to the BW and were welcomed with open arms by the BW gang.
