• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wifes 2017 F3s had one in the trunk and now the 2018 F3 limited has one in the trunk also. There is a stick on pad (appears to be clear) about 4X4. Where does it go? Dealer just looked at me strangely when I asked on both bikes.

Sounds like the pouch for the owners manual.....and other important papers.
Where you put it is entirely up to you.

I too have NO idea where BRP intended it to go. Mine has 3 round velcro pads on it......which don't seem to match anything anywhere.

Clear Vinyl Square came on the F3's to place wherever you fit your footpegs/Antiscuff

You can stick it on the side frame tubes behind where you locate your pegs to preserve the finish in that area.

The RT manual is normally inside the plastic punch, which usually has corresponding velcro spots on the back wall of the inside of the Frunk, below the fuse boxes. If you have the Frunk liner you likely have to unzip the liner to see that area.

This.;) same on the F3 or at least same on my F3.

OK folks, how did the post from DGoebel get quoted.....when it now does NOT appear in this thread anymore ??

Easy rider - a poster can delete his/her message any time - but if someone else has quoted it in their post, the quote stays.

Likely the poster deleted his info realising he had followed a red herring, as it was about something different to the op query.

EASY there... :D Easy Rider, I deleted my own post as I realized that the F3 guys (the OP and others) were actually talking about the frame protective clear film that comes with F3's. I misunderstood what the OP was talking about and realized my post about the RT clear manual pouch didn't apply to this thread.
The OP's question has been asked and properly answered that those 4x4 clear vinyl "Patches" are for the F3 folks to put on their individual High Scuff areas, often on the pretty frame tubes that are exposed to boot edges etc.
