• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Under the Seat Wire

This tells your Spyder that you have a passenger onboard so the suspension can make appropriate adjustments.
 Sort of...
Technically; that sensor lets the computer know about the presence of a passenger, so that the front to rear brake bias can be properly set.
(I guess that the brakes ARE a part of the suspension... :D)

Nanny also makes an adjustment in how it responds to the yaw signal. With a passenger the center of gravity is higher.

What they said....

But the best is that it has a purpose and if it is not connected you will have nanny issues. You may have noticed many cars have a simi;ar feature to activate airbags and such when passengers are present...

That wire and sensor are also connected to the rear seat ejection system. It's integrated through the intercom to the computer. Should the rear portion of the intercom remain open for more than 4 minutes, it automatically arms itself for activation the next time the rear intercom push-to-talk switch is moved. If another 4 minutes passes w/o that switch being moved, then the system will disarm itself and revert to standby mode. :roflblack::roflblack:
