Has anyone gotten a RS seat from the people at The ultimate seats that is a sponsor on this website and if so how is it and is it worth the mon ey etc..?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I love mine, there is another post about this similar topic on the LadySpyder forum also. I have an RS and the Ultimate Seat actually fits better than the stock did. I know it is the same seat pan, but my stock seat would hit the 'tank' panel when closing. The Ultimate sits right down and fits perfectly. I got the midrider. It puts me in the same exact position as my stock seat did. It is incredibly comfortable as well. Best of luck to you!

I've been thinking about getting one of these seats buI sent my stock seat to them to use as a prototype...now I don't have a seat pan to send...

I had one on my RS. Absolutely loved it and YES it is worth every penny. I even have one ordered for my new RT. would not have any other seat.

I am just looking for a new seat. I currently have the stock one. I have been considering the corbin seat or the BRP comfort seat. I saw that on here and was curious. Thanks for your responses.

We LOVE our Ultimate seat. We bought it last Oct. and have put about 10000 miles on it since we bought it. Initially bought the seat with a driver's backrest (we have a trunk and didn't need the passenger backrest). The seat seemed wider than the stock seat to start with (I guess because of the extra padding) but I really haven't noticed that since the first day of riding with it. We ended up adding the passenger backrest at Spyderfest (we changed to a Givi trunk at Daytona and the backrest was up between my shoulder blades, which was not where I wanted a BACK rest). It's a vast improvement over the Givi one. Comes with a frogg-togg type rain cover. Excellent customer service. A little pricy but well worth every penny.
