• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ultimate Seats installed

Thanks for the video!

Dawg,

Thanks for taking time to make the video. It was great working with you to get your seat sets just how you wanted them.

Thanks to everyone else for chiming in for "tech support."

Best,

Ultimate Seats

Ultimate Seats- it was a fun experience and thanks for two great looking seat sets! Based on the time on the video it was about an 18 minute job - by clock a little longer as I wanted to set up some re-shots. In reality this was a real-time install. That would correlate with the local dealer that quoted 30 minutes of labor to do the change. If you have the $17 twist ratchet (mine was Kobalt from Lowes with a bunch of heads for it), a 10mm and 13mm wrench and socket, some grease and a screwdriver (duct tape) - you can do this.

The real credit though goes to everyone here on Spyderlovers. All these tips and secrets that are shared on here from other people's experiences made producing this worthwhile - all very good advice we get from our fellow Spyderlovers! The duct tape on the "throat" of the spyder and duct tape as a retainer on the nuts are two great tips that came from here.

Videos in the past on here have helped me to conquer jobs, mods, and farkles that I have done so it was neat to be able to try to pay it back with the hopes that even one person gets something out of it.

And from the wrench work you can witness in the video it should be obvious I am no mechanic so if I can do it..........
