There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Ultimate seat...Tall or Mid-rider

I've been looking at putting an Ultimate seat on my 2017 F3L. The stock seat has to go. I am 5' 10 1/2" tall and in position 4 with short reach bars. This set up with the stock seat is in a comfortable position so I am leaning towards the mid-rider and the passenger area is fairly small as it is and I think the tall-rider will make it that much smaller. For those of you who have the Ultimate seat which one are you using? Thanks Wayne

Well I would stick with stock seat if you are going to stay with the stock bars. ( Ultimate Stock not tall boy.)

If you get the tall boy seat you will be reaching and then you will need to get the TRI Axis bars.

Now if you have long arms you would be ok with the Tall boy seat.

Good Luck

I have the tall boy, but be aware... my wife calls me "monkey" arms and it is hard for me to find shirts that don't ride up my forearms. I have to spray copious amounts of sunscreen on my wrist area if I wear long sleeves which are never long enough. I have my foot pegs in the foremost position as well because of the same problem with inseam leg length. I have modded my brake pedal as well. Details here >CLICK ME<

I just got my midrider and put about 400 miles 0n it and it works great! I be 5'7 and 85 years down the road.

I am your height, stocky build, average (I believe) arm length, currently using OEM stock handle bars. I had given some thought to possibly using 'short-reach' bars, but have so far not done so. Have been ryding my 2017 F3 L in position # 4 after not being totally happy at # 3, and switched to an Ultimate mid-rider seat about 7 months ago because I couldn't tolerate the BRP seat for more than an hour, tops. An AirHawk cushion helped somewhat, but the seat change has been the best answer. I believe you are likely best to go with mid-rider; the Ultimate 'tall boy' will move you back another 1-1/2", which I don't think you really want. My lady is quite happy with her portion of the Ultimate seat; she's 5'6" and 135#, in excellent shape for a 73-year old. She was OK with the BRP stock seating; I wasn't. Based on your comments, I think the Ultimate 'mid-rider' will probably suit you best. PS: I did order the driver's back rest, which I am enjoying, and the passenger back rest cover, which really gives it a 'finished' look. I'm happy I bought these additional options.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Bushrat, I have the same bike as yours and love that seat color combo. I did pull the trigger and ordered a mid-rider. I ordered all black due to the fact I already had the Ultimate all black drivers backrest. Should be here Thursday.
