There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Ultimate Seat....Mid Rider or Tall Boy?

I want to purchase an Ultimate Seat for a 2015 RT Limited. (have Tri-Axis Adjustable Handlebars)

I am 5'10", 210 lbs.

I was told to get the Tall Boy, but I am concerned about, (i) not tall enough and (ii) decreasing the area for a passenger.

I was told that the 1.5" set back will be more comfortable for my leg positions.

I would appreciate any help here.

Thanks,

Bob S.

I have the mid range. I am 5 ft 11 inch.
I tried both seats at Spyderfest.
The tall boy was not right for me.

I am the same height and weight with a Mid Rider. It works for me. Arm Length 32 for me and that is the most important measurement. A tall boy would put me back too far I do not like my arms extended that far. With Tri Axis it may be ok but it also limits the passenger seat area.

You will be more comfortable with the tall boy seat with the tri axis bars..Then put on some hwy pegs and kick back! I did!!

I'm 5' 10" also and I bought the Tall-Boy. I'm very stiff and the Spyder cockpit felt tight to me, and the Tall-Boy suits me just fine. My wife is small and doesn't seem to miss the extra space. I also bought the Ultimate seats backrest for the back because it will give the passenger just a bit more room.

One nice thing about Ultimate - You can buy a seat and as long as you keep it pristine you can return it/exchange it within 14 days.

I have the Tall Boy, and I'm only 5'8". The owner had me sit on both seats at Americade, and said that I was just within the limit to be comfortable on the Tall Boy. I love the added room it provides, and with the Ultimate passenger backrest, my wife says she has the same amount of space as with the stock setup, maybe more. The rider backrest is also slimmer than the BRP piece, and is adjustable forward and aft, providing even more space if needed. In general, I can't say enough good things about the Ultimate setup. I find it way more comfortable than stock, although it is extremely pricey.
