• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I installed the Ultimate Comfort Seat today. My wife helped so it only took an extra hour to install. Tuesday will give it a short test to Gatlinburg, TN via NC 28, The Dragon, and a few scenic roads to take in some of the fall colors (it's supposed to peak in this area next weekend).:clap::ohyea::thumbup::2thumbs::trike:

That's what my next purchase is planning on being. Please let me know your thoughts after your trip. Have a fun and safe trip.

A good sign of having someone else guide you in installing your seat to make sure you did it right, will like to see pictures after your ride.

I too have an Ultimate seat and found it to be somewhat slick and not all that comfortable until I had several hundred miles of butt time in the seat. It takes (IMO) at least 200 ryding miles ( maybe more) to "break in" the new Ultimate seat. The seat "molds" to your butt after that break in period and you feel like you are sitting in it vice sitting on it. So, I'm now a huge fan of my Ultimate seat and can't imagine being without it.

Recommend taking it easy on the Dragon and other twisties until you break in the Ultimate seat and get that "sitting in it" feeling. Just saying...

If you ryde 2-up like us, I'll bet your wife will appreciate it before you do. I love ours, but for her it was almost immediate due to the tilt of the pillion. She always felt like the BRP seat was leaning her into me, and the Ultimate tilts toward the back. She also feels more secure with the rider backrest.

my wife said the same thing! we love our ultimate. i also agree with spyryd, the dragon might not be a good place to test drive the seat. it does take a break in period that doesn't happen between you house and the dragon. we found it to be around three hundred to four hundred miles for the break in!!! enjoy it.
