Ultimate Seat for my F-3

I ordered and rec'd a seat for my F3s from Ultimate. Upon trying to install with my factory passenger back rest it wouldn't latch. Ultimate makes no provision for this unless you order the seat set up for their back rest. When I ordered the seat they asked about whether I wanted a back rest and I told them I would order at a later date..so the seat won't latch at the back. Studied on this a couple days and screwed the latch post out 1/2" or so and it latches..yes the rear of the seat is raised a bit but no real choice..

When I got my Ultimate, the installation instructions gave instructions on the latch post Length adjustment.

My Ultimate seat fits just fine with my BRP passenger backrest. My instructions also gave me how to set the latch pin.

Same with me when I got my Ultimate. Even had a picture of how to measure the distance of the pin, and it worked perfect. They are some nice folks over there, give them a call and they will help resolve your issues i'm sure. I'm very pleased with my Ultimate seat.
